Dear Christ follower,
When you encounter a season of spritual “dryness” in your walk with Christ, consider it a blessing. Why? Because the Lord is refining you. He is developing you. He is maturing you. He is readying you for what is to come. He is preparing and equipping you for your next adventure of deployment that He has for you. You might experience disappointment during this season. You might question the purpose of your circumstances. You might develop feelings of doubt. This is all normal and it is okay to feel this way. However, you cannot stay there. You must take it to the Lord and let Him work on your heart and your spirit of disbelief. He is not allowing these trials to punish you. He is not pushing you away. He is inviting you to cling to Him and grow closer during this season. You must seek Him and not flee from Him.
Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
James 1:2-4 NIV “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
1 Timothy 4:12
